I'm using Tbird 102.4.1 (32-bit) I have 3 email accounts and have all the boxes un-checked to check for new messages in all 3, I want to manually check for new emails because I use mailwasher to get rid of the junk first. But One of my email accounts on Tbird will still auto check and receive new emails, and it seems to be random when it does check for new emails, it's not all the time. Would appreciate any help to stop it, Thanks.

Chosen solution

Some IMAP accounts will push new mail notifications to TB even if all the checkboxes are unchecked. To disable all contact with mail servers, work with TB in offline mode (File/Offline/Work Offline, or click the icon at the left end of the Status Bar). To then check manually, go online and click Get Messages.

Hello there ptingles. We have read your message. We try to help you.

Oké you use thunderbird.oké Also you do use mailwash for mailwashing. What did you select at the selection box after finding out this issue? What kind of email software are we talking about? Outlook?

Greetings Firefox volunteer.
