Question regarding add-ons on Firefox for Android

SuMo Bot

I am aware that there is a workaround via collections in Firefox Nightly but what is the plan? If I haven't missed anything, the last update on that was some 3 months ago and it didn't specify whether you plan to move the workaround to Beta and then eventually to release or whether it's just a stopgap until you offer full add-ons support on the release channel like with your pre-Fenix versions. So, I guess my question is: what's the latest on your plans? Also, while we're at it, what's the plan regarding about:config support? Thanks in advance!

Hi

At present you can access about:config in the Beta and Nightly versions of Firefox for Android.

Both that and more add-on support are things we are hoping to make more widely available in a future update to Firefox for Android.
