Email from Gmail account quit downloading. Just stopped today.
I haven't been able to receive email on one of my Gmail accounts (I have three). It just stopped today. When IMAP/POPping, it just says there's no messages to download (no error messages) but in the Gmail Inbox online there are some.
Not sure where to begin. With the hundreds of emails I receive daily, I'd hate to have to close this profile and start over again.
Recommendation?

I would start by turning off your device and restarting it again. Always the first step.
Check the account through webmail to see if there's a corrupted message blocking downloads:
I was suddenly bombarded with cookie messages from Google telling me to enable them (which were already done). I wound up going through the Google security settings and resetting them for external apps. That seemed to have fixed the problem.
Interesting how it just decided to affect that one account.
