how to stop top sites from syncing

I use firefox sync but i don't want the same sites at home and work. Right now, every sync gives me the wrong top sites (tiles) and i cannot find any control that allows me to stop this from happening.

Chosen solution

I switched to eversync (and their addon speedial) which also allows me to sync to chrome.

I think that top sites are part of the history, so you can try to exclude the history and possibly open tabs to see if that has effect.

This did not help. I turned it off, changed some tiles and it gets pushed to the next PC...
