When I try to upload a file to a website (for example attach something to a social media post, or upload a photo to an online photo editor), I can't find the file in the explorer window that pops up about 80% of the time. I can access the folder where I know the files are, but some of the files are missing. I don't have this problem with Chrome - all my files are where they should be - but on Firefox it's like they disappear at random. How can I fix this?

Ya, issues......everyone has issues.... :=} Hi Ya ! Lets see if can work on yours. or maybe not.... Please consider turning on send info to Mozilla before posting a question. This helps us help you. As I have no info from your system that would help see things that cause issues. So am shooting blind here. Update your video card drivers please. Yes update them...most problems start there. Make sure Win 7 is up to date. From a a Administrator command prompt please copy/paste or type Sfc /scannow so sfc(space)/scannow that repairs files locally from files on your system. Nobody has yet told me if this works on Win 7 yet (be the 1st) From a Administrator command prompt copy/paste or type DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth this repairs files by bringing them in from Microsoft.

Since I think you are running version 56. Am going to get you to uninstall please as you should have update long ago to the current version 56.0.2 You can get a Full Version Installer here : https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

Note : Firefox 57 Quantum release date Nov 14th https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/quantum/ Note : Legacy Extensions will be disabled and or removed.
