I've been told I've won a prize yet no matter how I try to claim it it tells me I need to verify ny the email they've sent me, but no email has been sent.I've tried 3 times & still no email.What do I need to do?

Hi

This sounds very much like someone is, or is trying to, scam you by obtaining personal details that could be used to defraud you.

If you have passed money or bank details to these people, I strongly recommend you contact the law enforcement authority relevant to your jurisdiction and your bank/credit card provider immediately.

I do not know what details you have given them, but you may wish to be very careful with any emails you receive and/or change your email address. Likewise with any phone number or other contacts details you have given them.

I do not know which legal jurisdiction you are in, but I recommend having a read of this site from the UK government with guidance on identity theft.

In respect of Firefox and your computer, I recommend you walk through this article and making sure that your operating system and any security software is up to date and turned on.
