Thunderbird keeps synchronizing Google Agenda all day and everytime it slows down.

Every hour of so Thunderbird synchronises Google Agenda, there are almost 1000 events, so it takes some time. Meanwhile Thunderbird get stuck. I have to wait for it to be ready before I can continue.

Why does this happens suddenly (since yesterday)? If it can't be fixed, I must remove the synchronisation with my Google Agenda.

right click the calendar in the calendar tab and select properties and set a rime frequency to suit you.

Thank you, but I stopped using the Google Calendar together with Thunderbird.
