Your System Details shows;

Installed Plug-ins

Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.1.3.153 Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.1.2.152

Having more than one version of a program may cause issues.

Flash is notorious for not cleaning out the older version as part of an update. Grab the uninstaller from here: Uninstall Flash Player | Windows Uninstall Flash Player | Mac Then reinstall the latest version.

Update your Shockwave Flash v14. http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/ The link for Flash Player is: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

I went to the control panel and un-installed Shockwave flash 12. Opened FF and there was NO shockwave for director. Downloaded the un-installer and un-installed Adobe flash 14.Clicked your link for The Shockwave Flash Shockwave flash 12 is what came up, no 14. preceded to install the 12 and it says it needs a plug in to install. I let it install the plug in to continue. After the install I open FF and check and the 2 shockwave for director are back, :( now what??

I went back to control panel and un-installed Shockwave again. Went back to the link to install and clicked to install, the box came up again for the plugin, I clicked to install the plugin and when the first box to install came up I clicked cancel on it. That worked for that. I only have one Shockwave for director now. I Installed Adobe flash 14.I open FF go to my game and it is still jumping. I did notice there is 2 Adobe Acrobat programs in the add on section. I have no idea where they came from, I did not install them. Did that come with FF and could that be a problem??? The only add on I have ever added is Add block plus so I never look in this section. I don't know if they were there in FF 29. What now. :)

Un-installed Adobe reader. Got rid of one of the Adobe Acrobat programs. Didn't help the jumping.

Hello,

Some problems with Flash video playback can be resolved by disabling hardware acceleration in your Flash Player settings. (See this article for more information on using the Flash plugin in Firefox).

To disable hardware acceleration in Flash Player:

  1. Go to this Adobe Flash Player Help page.
  2. Right-click on the Flash Player logo on that page.
  3. Click on Settings in the context menu. The Adobe Flash Player Settings screen will open.
  4. Click on the icon at the bottom-left of the Adobe Flash Player Settings window to open the Display panel.

    The image "fpSettings1.PNG" does not exist.
  5. Remove the check mark from Enable hardware acceleration.
  6. Click Close to close the Adobe Flash Player Settings Window.
  7. Restart Firefox.

This Flash Player Help - Display Settings page has more information on Flash Player hardware acceleration, if you're interested.

Does this solve the problem? Let us know.

I un-checked the Enable hardware acceleration as instructed and that didn't help. If it helps, the support people for this game said there game is not run in flash. I also checked on another computer that was running Windows 7 and it did the same on that computer. I un-installed Java and still the same. Also the game runs good on Chrome. Thank you so much for your help.

I found that after Firefox v29, and v30, a LOT of my settings and add-ons were changed / reset. Try this; Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} While you are in safe mode; Press the Alt or F10 key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;

Windows; Tools > Options Linux; Edit > Preferences Mac; application name > Preferences

Then Advanced > General. Look for and turn off Use Hardware Acceleration. Then check ALL of your settings; Browser and add-ons. Then restart.

Poke around safe web sites. Are there any problems?. Then restart.

Sorry Fred, I tried all this and the site still jumps even in safe mode.:( This is the site that is jumpy. Can you go to it and see what it is doing??? https://apps.facebook.com/megafamecasino/?fb_source=bookmark&ref=bookmarks&count=0&fb_bmpos=2_0 I don't know if it is possible or not, just asking because it does it on my sisters computer and she runs windows 7. Thank You

I forgot to say, I don't know if anything or settings changed. I just use any of the browsers like they install. I don't add or change anything unless someone at support ask me to.The only thing I EVER add is add blocker plus.

Try to create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over the problem

Thank you Cor-el. I created a new profile and it undated to Firefox 31 but is still jumping.

I still have the jumping problem. I have done all of the above suggestions. I have now installed FF 32 and it is doing the same thing. If it makes any difference I have tried it on different computers and different windows and different accounts. It jumps on all but Windows 8. HELP!!!!!!

Can you clarify what exactly you experience and when?

Is this with scrolling the page? Does it still happens after the page has finished loading or only while the page is loading (i.e. you have a stop button instead of reload on the location bar)?

If there is a problem with scrolling on web pages then try to disable smooth scrolling.

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > General: Browsing: "Use smooth scrolling"

You can also try to increase the value of the general.smoothScroll.mouseWheel.durationMaxMS pref on the about:config page a higher value like 1000 to see if that makes a difference with smooth scrolling enabled.

No, it has nothing to do with scrolling. When I load this game all the pictures jump and jitter to the point I can't play this game on FF. Chrome does fine but to slow for slots. Thanks for looking.
