I have been using the Firefox browser for years on the exact same computer running windows 8.1 that isn't having any issues or problems. Over the last 6 months the browser has been crashing every single day regardless of utilizing every setting mentioned in the help articles, numerous "refreshes" (numerous times it also freezes during refresh) and numerous reinstalls have done nothing. Every single day the browser crashes and I have to restart it or my whole computer. This is my last attempt to figure out what's happening before I stop ever using it again.

Hello. My tablet, has limited memory, due to its age. I am now finding that one of the main reasons why it is so slow is because whenever I open firefox, it opens multiple firefox processes which drain the memory and in some cases crashes the system. I have followed all the advice given to reduce these multiple processes, however nothing seems to work and at least 6-8 firefox processes open each time I open it. I have unchecked the recommended performance settings as well as hardware acceleration boxes. However, I cannot find where to set the content process limit to 1. Please tell me how to do this and if there anything else I can try to stop it opening multiple processes or I may be forced to ditch Firefox altogether for an alternate such as Bing, Chrome or DuckDuckGo. msn.com and outlook.com recently changed their login procedure and I can't login using firefox. I get an error 400.

I have tried endlessly to go onto Anesco website, it comes up with Forbidden 404 on all their sites, my solar system is managed by them but I cannot access the sites to contact them anyone got any ideas please, https://anesco.com/

Second, I would like to be able to start Firefox with a specified URL from a batch file -or- a .net program. Then, either close FF -or- switch to a different URL. is this possible?

I still have windows 8.1. I do all my bill paying online. I can no longer open my banks website for online business. I thought Firefox had renewed support through 2026? Wasnt Firefox a search engine? The listed search s - none of them open banks etc.

I'm unable to log in to Telephone Service Co. - TSC Wapakoneta, Ohio website using Firefox, but Internet Explorer logs in OK. TSC Customer Service indicated problem was in Firefox, but Firefox seems to work OK on other sites. TSC suggested I clear cache & cookies. Is this a good idea? If so, how do I do that?
