How to remove disabled extension of arcadeparlor?
There is no option of removing this extension only to disable it. Resetting the browser doesn't removebold text it.

Yes. You can delete the {F32E7E42-9AFA-47CA-A0C4-D07EE651D404} folder.
If the extension comes back then do a malware check.
Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
All these programs have free versions.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

See the following article.
1. Safe Mode operation was no help. 2. Manual uninstall was no help either. No corresponding .xpi file or folder.

You're not going to find globally-installed extensions under your profile folder. Like the article explains, you have to uninstall them from the Windows Control Panel. If that's not an option, try looking under
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\browser\extensions
Whether or not you manage to manually remove it, install and update MalwareBytes Anti-Malware, then perform a full system scan.
Malware-bytes full scan found and removed a trojan that's not related to this issue. No extension related to Arcade found.

Extensions that do not have a "Remove" button are installed by other software and are not under control of the Firefox extension manager.
Such globally installed extensions are usually found via a registry scan or are installed in a location that Firefox scans for installed extensions.
Only want to remove the disabled extension that is present only in FF out of my 3 (ie, ff, gc) browsers. Registry manipulation is not my cup of tea. I'd need step by step help. Thank you

Hi barsim, are you familiar with using regedit.exe? You are just going in to discover the full path to the extension, and not to make any changes.
The article lists the relevant location for 64-bit Windows as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions
An example screen shot is attached.
Although that is the most direct way to discover the location on disk, I described another way in this post: https://support.mozilla.org/questions/983038#answer-521807 Apparently that method is obsolete

1. Registry browsing: No extension showing related to Arcade. 2. Through SQLite Manager's Profile Database: The drop-down list doesn't include extension.sqlite folder.
Did you check in "Windows Control Panel > Programs" for recently installed programs to see if anything from Arcade or any other suspicious software shows up.
- Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features > Uninstall or change a program
- Click the Installed column to sort by this heading
Not in the registry, so perhaps in the Firefox program folder. Can you check here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\browser\extensions
Sorry about the extensions.sqlite information, that seems to have changed in a recent version. When I create a new profile, there is no extensions.sqlite file any more.
It seems you can find similar information in this file:
extensions.json
If you open it in a text editor and search for
"name"
you can hop from one to the next and see whether it's there. Then check "descriptor" for the path on disk.
Or to make the file more readable, copy everything and use this site to format it: http://jsbeautifier.org/
Note this current Firefox releases come with their own JavaScript beautifier (jsb) as part of the Web Developer Toolbar commands.
Current Firefox versions have a lot of built-in web developer tools including an Inspector and Style editor.
You can open the extension.json file in a Firefox tab to get the URL in the location bar and issue the jsb command in the command line on the Developer Toolbar (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) and paste the URL after the jsb command.
This will open the file in the Scratchpad.

"Not in the registry, so perhaps in the Firefox program folder. Can you check here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\browser\extensions" See att. 1. No .json extension in my FF browser, not even in system. 2. My question was simple "How to remove disabled ArcadeParlor extension when the Remove button is missing?"
Web Developer, Scratchpad, Beautifier??????
Your Firefox profile folder is hidden by default, so normally you will not see the contents in a search.
The easiest way to access your currently active profile folder is using:
Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button
When you scroll down, you should find extensions.json. If Windows does not show file extensions such as .js, .json, .txt and so forth, you can switch on viewing of file extensions to work with file names more accurately. This article has the steps: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/865219.
Easiest would still be to open the registry editor (regedit.exe) and navigate to this key:
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Mozilla\Firefox\Extensions
There you should see this program and its file path.
1. Profile folder not showing it. 2. Neither is the Registry.
There are other locations where extensions can be dropped.
- C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\mozilla\extensions\{ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384}
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\browser\extensions
Finally! I've found the extension. Question: the {F32E7E42-9AFA-47CA-A0C4-D07EE651D404} folder should be deleted that corresponds to ArcadeParlor?

For future reference, if needed, the extensions.json file is not in the extensions subfolder, it is in the top level of your profile folder.
