Hi Brittany, You can find step by step instructions for upgrading to latest Firefox here: Upgrading to Firefox 3.6.

Please note that your current Firefox version is very old and it is not safe for regular use because it no longer receives security updates. I would strongly advise you to upgrade as soon as possible.
