Hi all,

I've read a bit before, and it seems to be impossible to get the tabs available directly (FF Android), as it used to be : a real pitty in my opinion (I did tried to get used to the new Firefox, but really, I am wasting my time to switch on my many "tabs") I guess that this option won't be available again?

Here is my additional question then : how to switch between tabs in one click, or how to a dedicated close a tab in 1 click? - yes, I know that I can swipe left of right, nice feature, but it doesn t do the job efficiently - I know too the "tab" menu but it means at minimum 2 clicks

I've been using ff almost since the beginning as default browser, but since the tabs had been suppressed , I am less and less on my tablets. Let's hope now you are not planning to perform the same with FF for pc...

PS : as "tabs" are not any more tabs (don't trust me, just search "tabs for paperwork" and compare with the so called "tabs" now in FF), I strongly suggest that you rename your feature to something else)

PS2 : really sorry if my post appears a bit angrier, i mean no offense as I do recognize the amazing work whic had been performed along al those years, but seriously, suppressing basics stuff is the worst idea (it reminds me a bit opera, which used to be outdated, but which I am using again now as they improved a lot, and thanks to the FF no tabs policy)

Hi

To close or switch between tabs needs a minimum of two taps, one to open the tab menu and the other to either close or select another open tab.

Hello,

Thank you Paul to confirm what I thought, even if this is a real pitty Do you know if it is planned to get back the tabs possibility on Android (or worst, to suppress it also from desktop FF) ?

Hi

I do not know if any plans to change this in both Android and Desktop versions of Firefox.

Hi,

Unfortunately, I guess not more will come here

As I was looking for a solution before but all threads were "archived", so I wasn't able to answer into them, but had to recreate a new : May be keeping one, or better, creating a poll on the subject might be interesting ?

Anyway, thanks again Paul, even if I am uninstalling FF from my mobiles and tablets Let's hope I won't be so disappointed now with desktop FF

The people who answer questions here, for the most part, are other users volunteering their time (like me), not Mozilla employees or developers. If you want to leave feedback for developers, you can go to the Firefox Help menu and select either Share ideas and feedback… or Submit feedback…, depending on your Firefox version. Alternatively, you can use this link. Your feedback gets collected by a team of people who read it and gather data about the most common issues.

You can also file a bug report or feature request. See File a bug report or feature request for Mozilla products for details.

Hi Paul,

Yes, no surprise

And thanks for the links, that's a good idea, and it's fair to give my feedback in case it helps, as I really enjoyed FF (and still on desktop)

Have a great day
