Do Basic check to see if you have anything on computer which is recording your keystrokes or similar.

  • Exit all Programs
  • Restart Computer in 'Safe Mode'
  • Run full scan.

Do not have your browser storing saved passwords. Remove them if you have set it up.

Once all is clear then restart computer as normal.

Make sure you have protection on all devices - computer, phone etc.

Do not click on any link in email as it might not be from trusted source - try to logon directly to Facebook or webmail account to reset password and choose something that is not predictable. For all you know, no one has hacked anything, but they are trying to get you to use a link which looks very similar to website and prompts you to enter password and username to change to new password. Then the hacker has your access data.

So if you can actually logon to Facebook and your webmail account and check settings you might discover it ok or if some settings have changed you need to reset them. But do not do this via any links always logon directly to the website.
