I just purchased a MeLe Quieter2. It was loaded with some version of Windows 10. I downloaded Ubuntu to a removable storage device (thumb drive?) and want to download the Ubuntu Operating System to my MeLe mini. I really want to avoid "bricking" my mini desktop at all costs. My ultimate goal is to have my mini totally Linux oriented with Firefox as my browser and removing all Windows software, all Google apps, all social media and anything else that wants to market to me, demand my location and generally futz up my system. Can anyone help?

This section is for support of desktop Firefox for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

What you are asking for support on is help to install a Linux distro on what is essentially a tiny computer.

A search engine search for say MeLe Quieter2 Linux results in sources like the example below https://www.cnx-software.com/2021/06/01/mele-quieter2-review-windows-10-ubuntu-20-04-egpu/ https://www.reddit.com/r/MiniPCs/comments/o8m8lc/mele_quieter2_linux_install/

They mention issues that arose and how they fixed it like changing the boot OS from Windows to Linux in Bios.
