Lost email folders after compacting
Hi,
I've done a search on this but the answers to similar issues are a good few years ago now. I'm really hoping there has been some progress since....
Today I tried to move some messages from my inbox into a folder called Organisations, which contains numerous other sub-folders. The error message said insufficient disk space (or something) and suggested I compact folders to make space. This I did, but now the Organisations folder is completely empty. It probably had a few thousand emails in there, some of which are general history for reference but others are quite important.
I tried right clicking> properties>repair folder but nothing happens.
Its a good while since I did a full system back-up so I might be able to recover some, but anything recent is lost, unless anyone has any ideas?
