cant download files
windows 10 64 bit, latest firefox version 88.0.1 64 bit when i try to download files, dialogue box doesnt open when switching in to safe mode (troubleshooting mode) i can download everything as usual i didnt install any new add on, and dont want to lose my add ons or bookmarks, what can i do to further investigate the problem and to fix it? thanks in advance

You may have to see if Win10 is not providing you with permission to download. Look into your win user settings and privildeges, etc...
this is not the case, because everything's fine in firefox safe mode, and also in chrome, just did an addons disable, that couldn't pinpoint on any specific one. does any one else has a different lead?
If you have success in Windows Safemode, then maybe you should try Windows Clean mode, reboot and review the issue.
dude do you even know whats firefox safemode is? i clearly stated that. its not windows safemode! its really a shame you dont bother to read! i asked nicely from other people to help, stop answering dumb answers!
