I just had a new hard drive installed on my computer. I viewed the video on "Moving Thunderbird Data to a New Computer". I copied my files from the old computer to an external hard drive. The information was there for a couple of days, but on today I received and error on the external drive. I was instructed to perform a scan on the on the external drive for clean up. Now, when I looked at the Thunderbird file on the external drive there is no information in the profile section (This folder is empty). Can anyone think of any other course of action for me to install my existing Thunderbird account to my new computer? I hope there is a way to preserve my old emails and archives. Is it possible to start a new Thunderbird account and match the data to the previous existing account? Thanks in advance for any help on this issue? Sayitright
