Opening the PDF
Hello, I want to open a PDF directly from Firefox - the university makes several uploads via the official website and in order not to waste time, I would like to click on it to open the PDF, it would already be opened. I already checked the box to remember my choice, but I always have to. I will be very happy with the help! :) #TakeCare

Since checking the box did not seem to work, I think you should try to set it in the Preferences Menu.
It is under Preferences-->General. Scroll down to Applications. Under "Content Type" look for PDF and on under "Action" there will be drop down menu with the option to select "Open with Firefox".

Well, search on Google / Bing, the solution is satisfied. However, I would like to leave the PDF download function enabled for files that belong to SIGAA - System of the Federadl University of Brazil.
Those PDF files are probably send as content-disposition. Files send this way always give you the download dialog.
