Firefox V73.0.1. Passwords and logins vanished. Help in related topic (old?) no good. Pls help!
I believe a recent up date erased or corrupted my logins file. I checked old threads and the suggestions do not work for me. I do not want to upgrade to W10 (7now) until I resolve this problem. Please, give the needed direction to recover them! They are extremelly important for me. Thank you! Isis

Look on your desktop. Do you see a folder called; Old Firefox? Look inside. Look for the folder with the latest creation date.

In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive, or written down. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.

Type about:profiles<enter> in the address bar.
How many profiles are listed?
How many should be there?
Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.
