videos not playing on some sites

There is no rhyme nor reason on this. But quite often now I am unable to view videos .. all I get is a black screen. You may hear audio (not always) but no video plays. I know it's Firefox. As I can copy and paste that link in Edge or any other browser and it works fine. This has been going on for the last couple months but is happening more and more. I have the latest flash player from adobe. Doesn’t correct the issue. I do have an ad blocker plugin. BUT even when I disable it. Still does not work. But again. I can view the same video in any other browser.. this really stinks cause I have used Firefox all the time over the years. Now it's just becoming a royal pain. It's a crap shoot as to whether I can watch the video or not and incredibly annoying. What do I have to do?? I also have the latest version of Firefox.. 46.01 the adobe flash player I have is. 12.2.4.194 for shockwave. And the regular flash player is. 21.0.0.213.. anyone have any idea what I am am supposed to do besides just move over to another browser?? Thanks much.
