You mess up my computer when you come in. I had it all set up for a project and you closed it down and I lost everything. Did I allow you to do this? unhappy

Why do you delete all my tabs. They were to be used for something. It goofed me up. two of them were for jobs and another was for a meeting I have to attend and I needed that information. That is how i hold my information. Can you at least say when you are coming in and what you are doing. deba113

Hi Deba, Sorry to hear you have been scammed.

I hope you have your Anti Virus software reinstalled and working again. Note if you use a genuine & supported copy of Windows then home users normally get free basic security and anti virus software from Windows Microsoft. It is built-in to Windows 10 but a free extra on some other versions. This type of issue occurs only when you`re downloading multiple things simultaneously or your Internet security is not updated so that it can avoid hijacking, scams and all that.

Hi Deba, You seem to have the odd idea that "we" are interfering with your computer. Maybe you should lock it away in a safe place so we do not beam it up to our spacecraft. ;-)

By the way if you are having problems with lost information whilst using Firefox you are in the right place to get help.

It is easy for you to uninstall Firefox. But is it probably the most secure browser around and from Mozilla an organisation that fights for privacy and security on the Internet.

Yes Firefox does update automatically by default, (You can turn off updates but it would be unwise) it does that to help keep you and your data safe. You appear to have Windows 10. That will update automatically for similar reasons but will not give you any choice not to update.

Firefox does by default have basic phishing and malware protection built in and turned on, again to try to keep you safe.

You my find this general information of help

Some of our alien language explained:

Oh and we are just fellow usres of Firefox, that help one another for free, so the weird light in the sky above your home, or the mysterious happenings and visitations on your computer are nothing to do with us. (Other than the fact that if it is a Firefox related problem we probably understand at least as well as anyone else how to fix it.)
