HI. i pause download in mozilla firefox and shut down my PC. can i resume it after the startup from the same point where i paused.

I would recommend to use an external download manager to download such a big file and such as DM is much robuster and can handle a lot more issues that the built-in Firefox DM that can easily fail is case of problems. You would normally be able to resume a paused download, but in case of problems this may not work.


An external Download Manager offers better support for resuming interrupted downloads than the built-in Firefox Downloads Manager. Use an external Download Manager if you need download features not offered by the Firefox Download Manager.

You can use the FlashGot extension to integrate an external Download Manager in Firefox.
