I am unable to find an answer (hours on the Internet) to this specific problem that has appeared out of nowhere:

Under File in the Menu Bar the "Email Link..." does not work anymore. If I want to send a thing I'm looking at to my Thunderbird email (and which I use Hover), most often is a You Tube video. But I do this for other things I start reading, but I don't have time for. This has worked for a very long time. It was always so easy. Now when I click on Email Link all I get is a blue circle-I think it rotates sometimes. It disappears in a second or less. I get nothing.

I do have Windows 11 and up-to-date Firefox. I am fairly sure it continued to work after I got a new computer Nov. 4th with W11 on it. I believe I lost this function within the last 6-8 weeks. Maybe with the new computer, but I don't think so. I'd appreciate it if someone might have a fix or idea about this. I admit my intelligence is not up to the task!

My Firefox data (profiles, bookmarks, browsing history, etc) suddenly disappeared. I had a session going with multiple tabs open, and only noticed because Outlook kept opening links in a brand new session that was not linked to the one I already had open. When I closed out of firefox, my old session and all my data was gone. I followed all the recovery steps and am stumped. Where did my data go and is it possible to restore it?

I want to delete some accounts that I never use. I can edit the email address and I can delete the password, but how do I expunge the site from my mozilla records?

My bookmarks are not working. Every time I try to click the star, nothing happens. I try to add bookmarks using ctrl d and nothing happens. This happened probably after an update from firefox (there is so many that I have to do constantly). I even tried restoring previous bookmarks, however it tells me unable to process the backup files. Ive even done "refresh firefox" "troubleshoot mode" and "clear startup cache" in the about:support area. Ive also reset my pc multiple times.

I would hate to have to use a different browser. PLEASE HELP FIX THIS

Love Firefox, and like Avast software. Wanted to try Avast AntiTrack Premium but Avast wants me to make it an add on extension to my browser. Mozilla told me this- just want to know if it's safe. Mozilla support articles frequently state that Firefox does not use popups for browser updates. However, I periodically receive popups from the toolbar stating that Firefox couldn't update automatically. The attached picture is an example from the web but looks just like the popups I receive. The issue typically either resolves itself or I download from the Firefox website and reinstall. In a rush/moment of weakness, I recently clicked the link in the popup. It took me directly to the Firefox website where I regrettably downloaded and updated the browser. I've since run multiple Norton and Malwarebytes scans, which have found no issues. It may be a difference in the definition of popups (from the toolbar vs within a browser page)... Is this a legitimate update message from Firefox? If it is not, are there any other steps I should take (e.g., reinstall Firefox)? I appreciate your help!

I typically use FF to log into social security accounts. I have not been able to use FF for a couple of months to log in to ONLY THAT SITE. I can on CHROME.

Reposting until I get help from someone. Windows/desktop. On Google Chrome, any streaming website I used with autoplay enabled would KEEP full screen mode ON after changing episodes. It would automatically go to a new page with the following episode and remain full screen. Why doesn't Firefox have this feature?? I'm seriously considering going back to Google Chrome for this one small feature. Every time I had any streaming service playing with autoplay enabled, I didn't have to manually select the full screen option every time. I am having to stand up and manually click full screen function. Every. Single. Time. Somebody please help me if there's a way to active that function.

I am having an issue where my google account half logs out after every session. My gmail remains logged in, but google search does not. Google drive (and this is the main issue), is stuck so that it can see the files of my account, but insists I'm not signed in.

When I attempt to login and retry nothing happens and it remains in the loop. Before today I have been able to open documents only accessible when signed in on google drive by going to the direct link. This is now intermittantly thinking I am not signed in but mostly working.

Things I have tried:

• Troubleshoot mode does not fix this problem.
• My firefox is up to date.
• I have seen this with no extensions or ad blockers.
• I have seen this both with and without cookies from google allowed.
• Screenshots attached from when I talked through this with google support. They said it was a problem on your end and can't do anything.
• This can be solved by logging out of all accounts and back in. But this is not an acceptable solution.

In the updated sidebar, the browsing history and "Tabs from other devices" entries no longer support opening links in a new tab by simply clicking the middle mouse button (which should function like Ctrl + left-click). This was possible in the previous version of the browsing history. However, bookmarks in the new sidebar still allow opening links in a new tab using the middle mouse button. Additionally, there doesn’t seem to be a shortcut key for opening links in a split tab (side-by-side view). Currently, I have to drag and drop, which feels cumbersome. I suggest adding this feature to the right-click context menu, introducing a keyboard shortcut (e.g., Ctrl + left-click, or another modifier key), or an option to set allowing the middle mouse button to open links in a split tab. Alternatively, a double-right-click could also work. If this feedback cannot be directly forwarded to the developers, where should I post or submit these suggestions?

Just bought my new Acer Lap Top Downloaded Firefox on it. Trying to bookmark some of my sites. It first let me bookmark them. Now they have all disappeared and it will no longer let me bookmark anything. Can anyone please help me?

When I turn on my Mac and click the Firefox browser icon, it will not load. It hangs. I get a "not responding" message and have to "force quit," again and again until FINALLY it loads, after five or more failed attempts. This does not happen with Firefox on my laptop, only my Mac. Both Firefox and my Mac are up to date. Why is this happening? Please help. It happens every day when I try to load the browser. I am about to give up and move to Safari. Relatedly, anyone know if it's possible to export all my bookmarks from Firefox to Safari?

Every time I get an update, it scares me. The latest update took uploaded a file using firefly. Could I do it using Chrome - yep - it uploaded my file without any issues. I keep hanging on to firefox but I need to changeover. The constant updates should be be happening.

I have my nonprofit's website through Weebly...but recently I cannot get it to come up when I type in the address...I get an error that says PR End of File Error. I am able to access the website through Edge...but I hate Edge!!!!

But it makes me think there is a setting through Weebly that is making Firefox not show the site.

Any help or advice would be great appreciated.

I uncheckd the checked box labled "check spelling as you type" to disable it and it's still showing spellcheck. It's gettingin the way of me typing and being able to spell on my own. It's extremely annoying that I can turn off a featire and the progra will just ingore that I've turened it off. Why is this an actualy problem? why doesn't this button just work? I want it OFF... Please.
