Firefox 11, windows 7 Sync used to work normally, but now, in info, it reads : services.sync.autoconnect I checked in about:config and services.sync.autoconnect is set to true.
In the windows option/sync, there is no link and no button for set up or configuration

Hi!
It seems that your account is properly configured.
Why do you say that the account is not set up as automatic sync? Since late last year we changed the way Sync works so now it's automatic everytime you change something in your bookmarks, history, etc.
I hope it helps.
Thank you for answering and sorry about the scribble above. I do it again. In about:config, services.sync.autoconnect is set to true
The automatism of the synchronization seems to be activated : when I open Firefox, and when I add a new password, or a new bookmark, a small message is displayed at the bottom of the page, saying that there is a connecting problem and the password is not right. "Sync a rencontré une erreur lors de la synchronisation : nom d'utilisateur ou mot de passe incorrect. Sync essaiera de nouveau cette action automatiquement.
So I try to force the password anew, it says the password has been renewed . And 5 minutes later it says that sync has failed, and ask me a new password. Well, it does not work.
And now that sync is included in Firefox, what can I done to set everything right ? I uninstalled an re-installed Firefox 11. To no avail It still says that there is a connecting error

Hello again ! I tried something else. After reinstalling Firefox 11, I deleted my sync account. I created a new sync account, connected my computer and my android smartphone to it. And I seemed to run OK. I shut off my computer and when I opened it anew, Sync sayd that it was unable to access my account, for the password was erroneous. So the question is : how do I make it works. ? It does not work at all, since when I close the computer, it cannot connect again.

You can check the password as stored in the Firefox Password Manager in case a wrong value is currently stored.
- Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
Look for:
- chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Password)
DON'T remove the Sync key:
- chrome://weave (Mozilla Services Encryption Passphrase)
Thanks. My password is correctly saved; I found it just where you told me. And in the other tab for Private , what is checked is : keep the whole history. (well it's in French, I do not know the exact terms in use for the English version)
