Firefox crashing on launch
Firefox has suddenly started crashing on my MacBook Pro (running Monterey 12.7.5). I can't think of anything that would have caused the crash, and multiple attempts to reinstall Firefox have been fruitless. It crashes immediately.

We're sorry to hear that Firefox is crashing when you open it. Please do the following to give us crash IDs that will help us understand more about the crash.
- Click the Finder icon in the dock. On the menu bar, click the Go menu, hold down the option or alt key and select Library. A window will open containing your Library folder.
- Open the "Application Support" folder, the "Firefox" folder, the "Crash Reports" folder and finally the "submitted" folder.
- Open the 5 most recent files with a text editor and copy the IDs.
- Paste each ID with bp- into the reply window on the forums.
Thanks in advance!
You can find more information and troubleshooting steps in the Troubleshoot Firefox crashes (closing or quitting unexpectedly) article.
I've trashed the Mozilla folder in the library in the hopes that would help. It didn't. Is this the id number? bp-1721161596 6BD41572-82E9-49BF-96C1-BA35DDB0452A
If you have submitted crash reports, please post the IDs of one or more recent submitted crash reports that start with "bp-".
- bp-xxxxxxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxxxxxxxxxx
You can find the ID of recent crash reports in "Help -> More Troubleshooting Information" (about:support).
- click the "All crash Reports" button on this page to open the about:crashes page and see all crash reports.
Alternately, you can open about:crashes via the location/address bar.
For unsubmitted crash reports in about:crashes, click Submit to submit the crash report. If the report is submitted successfully, the report will be moved to submitted crash reports and gets a "bp-" prefix.
- please do not add the "bp-" prefix yourself
