Thunderbird not responding on start-up
Hi, I have Thunderbird, 78.6.1. For over a week now when I launch it, it just hangs and then turns not-responding. I have to end task via task manager.
I have tried having the computer in safe mode and opening Thunderbird in safe mode. Same problem.
Someone please help as I have lots of "tasks" scheduled on there that at minimum would like not to lose if I have to go back to a previous version or uninstall.

Also, forgot to mention, running Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
does leaving it hanging and going out for coffee get it to go eventually?
I launched it and left it alone for 1 hour. A notification came through about 15 mins in that it was unable to connect to mail servers. Then 45 mins a calendar event came up. Couldn't click on it at first but now that it's been an hour, I notice it is gone. It's been one hour and I tried clicking on a different folder to see if things were working and it is hanging and says "not responding"
