I have successfully installed a google calendar to lightening using google provider and if I enter a event in google calendar is shows in thunderbird. However I cannot get any of the events I enter directly into thunderbird to show in Google calendar. Ifind lots of help articles but they all seem somewhat outdated can anyone help?

tried making sure you are actually adding the events to your google calendar. usually the local calendar remains unless you remove it as the default.
