hello, unfortunately this seems to be a crash that is appearing in firefox 19 on windows 8 with AMD Radeon HD 6XXX/7XXX graphics cards - developers are investigating the causes of it...

the best option probably is to downgrade to the to the former version at the moment until this gets sorted out: Install an older version of Firefox

the auto-update in firefox 18 for the affected systems is now disabled and will be turned back on when a fix is available.

This happens on all Windows 8 computers? Because I've recently been having this problem too, despite Firefox working fine for at least two months. What version should I downgrade too then?

hello, yes it's apparently only happening on win8 system with special graphic chips. the last version was firefox 18.0.2, which you can obtain from: ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/18.0.2/win32/

I am using Window XP and I only use Firefox. Now I've updated to version 20. But I still receive the crash inspector notice, that it has crash and ask for reset, this I do. I have lost count, to the number of times I have to re-set. Please can you hopefully, find a solution, to solve this. Thank you.

Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.
