Example ~ today's email from you In honor of International Earth Day on April 22 — and in the general spirit of conservation — this month we're going to show you some ways to conserve resources and get the most out of your browsing experience.

We'll teach you how to make Firefox faster by customizing and managing your tabs and we'll give you an add-on to make printing better by helping you not waste paper. We'll also give you some themes to literally turn your browser green' —' but before we do that, we'll take a little detour through another Firefox Flicks video (there's still time to enter and vote!) and share this month's featured add-ons.

That means that the text is Unicode, but it is shown as an 8 bit Western (e.g. ISO-8859-1) or Windows encoding.

You can switch the encoding to UTF-8.

Whenever I had seen these over the years they were in 'foreign spam' mail so that is why I questioned it of late when it showed up in local mail and then yours. I am in the Pacific West coast and have always had everything set for English. Should I try to stumble through the next answer's instructions for the UTG-8 setting?
