my home page was a customised google home page. Since the last Firefox update, that page has disappeared. How do I restore?

First, try to display the page. One of these might help:

http://www.google.com/

http://www.google.com/ig

Next, you can make that your home page using:

Tools > Options > General > "Use Current Pages"

(Pages is plural because if you have multiple tabs open in that window you can have multiple home pages.)
