When I try to click on any of my bookmarks, I am always directed to a BBC website...what could be wrong here?

I have tried downloading and installing the latest version of Firefox from your site three times now. Each time, the installation process hangs during the importing of data from Internet Explorer (it gives me a script error message). Then, once I close out of that error message...it appears that Firefox installed fine, until I try ANY of my bookmarks and am always redirected to a BBC website! This is simply the strangest thing I have ever seen, and it is on a brand new system with virtually no software other than Windows 7 Professional 64 bit loaded.

Could you please check whether this issue takes place in other browser (IE) now?

All of my "Favorites" links in Internet Explorer work fine. The problem only occurs in Firefox.

spudmanzx11, thanks for checking! Does the issue take place in safe mode in Firefox?

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
