When will the default mac buttons be redesigned?

I love using Firefox on my windows pc. I use a mac now on occasion and was surprised at how drab the default buttons are compared to those on the windows version. Why don't they more closely match? Will the mac default buttons be redesigned in 4 to more closely match the windows version?
