On Windows Vista you can't update beyond Firefox 52.9.0 ESR as support for this platform has ended. You would have to update your OS to be able to use the current releases.

Current Firefox releases require Windows 7 and newer. Users on Windows XP and Vista have been moved to the Firefox 52 ESR version.
