Hey it's possible the PDF viewer was turned off by an add-on or a misclick/mistake. let's try to make sure the PDF viewer you're using is turned on:

  1. Click the menu button (the one that looks like a mini burger on the top right) and choose Preferences.
  2. Select the Applications panel.
  3. Find Portable Document Format (PDF) in the list and click on it to select it.
  4. Click on the drop-down arrow in the Action column for the above entry and select the PDF viewer you wish to use.

If that doesn't fix it let me know. we'll try something else.

Disable the Adobe Reader plugin in Firefox (Tools > Add-ons > Plugins) and use the external Adobe Reader application or Preview application instead or the built-in PDF Viewer. PDF files may be found under entries like Portable document or Adobe PDF document or Adobe Acrobat Document.

  • Firefox > Preferences > Applications > Adobe PDF document : Use Adobe Reader
