For years I've had major issues with Chrome trying to upload pics to one of my websites. I get the "page unresponsive" popup as many as eighteen time! My hosting company told me to try using Firefox. Although it took forever to load the gallery, add photos and update it at least I did not get all the popups. Better.

Today I went to load more pics and was shocked that the gallery came up in about five seconds! This can't be right? Then I uploaded about twenty photos and clicked on "update" and, again, it updated in about five seconds! Is this real? My plugin is the FooGallery which I've had issues with for years so I doubt this is something they've done. I hope this great change is permanent.

Hi, i'm running a ryzen 5 desktop on Linux Mint 22.3 x86_64 with no ssd so it's a little slow to load firefox 152.0.1 (64-bit) after boot. I find that occasionally the tab i am loading timesout, and if i refresh i lose the page. I have a keyboard macro to work around the issue. I lost the code for it, but iirc it works by entering this combo alt-d, ctrl-c, ctrl-v, enter that is to say if I copy the url to the buffer and re-enter it, the page will load, but will not load from the current page.

Although I am using the latest firefox update and have cleared all firefox data and cookies it can take up to 30 minutes for facebook and instagram to load. When I switch to Google Chrome both facebook and instagram load instantly. What might be causing this? Thank you.

Ever since the last update or two when I click on links to open websites, it renders a white screen and I see waiting at the bottom. It takes forever for websites to open. I have toggled acceleration on and off, disabled Windows 11 Efficiency Mode and nothing is working. I am a web developer and I really need websites to open. They open quickly in Chrome but not Firefox after the update and I may need to start using Chrome.

I find that my desktop browser firefox is very slow or doesn't work at all on a lot of websites like amazon or fortnine.

My internet connection and computer are not the issue: 270Mbps (wired connection) Processor AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core Processor (4.70 GHz) Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.1 GB usable) Graphics card NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Ti SUPER (16 GB) Storage 3.58 TB of 10.92 TB used System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor (Windows 11)

My old PC and my mobile phone runs these website fine.

Sometimes the website will work for a moment, but stop and just load for ever after I open a new tab or clink a link. My task manager doesn't show any ethernet usage despite the tabs indicating they are trying to load. Refreshing the tabs does nothing and no matter how long I leave them they don't load. All my drivers, OS and programs are up to date. I have disabled my enhanced tracking protection and I don't have any adblockers. I have tried using the CMD "ipconfig -renew" and using ccleaner to clear out my cookies and cache but, nothing seems to have any lasting effect.

I am losing my mind trying to fix this. Why can I not browse the internet on my PC?

Any help on this would be amazing and much appreciated.

Firefox ver 152.01 64 bit on win 11 recently very slow to load tabs, and if on you tube very slow to show pictures of the video's, also in Task manager with two tabs open shows 1,154 MB and in the App's section show 14 Firefox open. If I use Edge they open very fast, and & have now stopped using Firefox for this reason. I have been using Firefox for many years without any problems but now not really usable any more, unless this can be fixed. John

When trying to log on websites, I have to way a very long time for the website to open up. Many times, it will time out and I have to try again. I thought it was my internet connection, but when I go to a different browser like Chrome or Edge, the websites open up right away. How can I fix this problem?

Since the last upgrade Firefox is running very slowly. Many sites that I use daily either take so long to open or don't open at all. I have to open MS EDGE which opens up these sites within microseconds.

I prefer using Mozilla, but unfortunately looks like I may have to move as Firefox is now almost useless for me.

Can anyone suggest anything I could try.

I HAD TO REINSTALL MY WINDOWS 10. NOW FIREFOX IS TAKING A LONG TIME, IF AT ALL, TO LOAD LINKS FROM MY EMAIL. FIREFOX IS SET AS THE DEFAULT BROWSER. THERE ARE NO ADD-ONS THAT WOULD BLOCK LINKS

My firefox took longer than normal to load this morning. It will go to some homepages but then won't go to any sub pages. It appears to not want to go to the home pages of shopping websites. It says it last updated firefox 5 days ago so the long wait this morning wasn't an update. If I use Microsoft Edge I a able to browse freely.
