Hi Firefox Android team,

I know Firefox supports the Dark Reader extension, and it works. But I shouldn't need an extension for something this fundamental.

My request is simple: add a built-in force dark mode that applies to every single web page automatically — YouTube, Facebook, news sites, blogs, government pages — everything. No extension, no workaround, just one toggle in Settings that makes every website dark.

The problem with Dark Reader: - Pages visibly blink and flash before going dark - It slows down heavy websites noticeably - It's an extra install that most casual users never discover - It shouldn't be the user's job to find a fix for a missing core feature

Firefox for iOS already has a built-in Night Mode button in the menu. Android users deserve the same — and better. Make it automatic, make it system-wide, and make it respect AMOLED screens for true black backgrounds.

Microsoft Edge and Chrome already have experimental force dark mode. Firefox can do it cleaner, faster, and make it a proper setting instead of a hidden flag.

This is a basic comfort feature in 2026. Please make it happen natively.

Hi, I tried to download a file, but it didn't work the first time. I got an error, the retry button doesn't work, and I can't remove it from the list either. Is there a way to remove it from the list? Google pixel 9 if it matters, version Firefox on screenshot.

On Android, with the OS set to use the bottom 3 buttons (back, home, app switcher) and Firefox set to use bottom address bar, when multiple tabs are open, closing a tab causes the "Tab Closed" bar to cover the lowest tab in the list.

This causes problems when trying to close multiple tabs because it's no longer possible to hit the "X" marking on the next tab without swiping the box away first.

I don't recall exactly then this became a problem, but it was fine until a few months ago and then a change caused this issue to start.

There's a lot of empty space in the box, maybe smush the box to the left side of the screen so the next tab is still able to be closed?

There is a numbers left address bar, when I click there is nothing but a word create new tab for searching. I have to swipe left right all over to find the right tab i want. Do not tel me that I can search tab,, it's not ver confinence.. it is stressful

When the "Delete browsing data on exit" feature is enabled in Firefox for Android, the app correctly clears selected data types (e.g., Browsing history, Cookies, Cache) upon exit. However, the "Recently closed tabs"list is completely unaffected and remains intact after restarting the app.

I just wanted to point out that the browser on Android has too many processes running in the background—I’ve never seen anything like it before, and it doesn’t seem normal to me. I’ll attach some screenshots of the processes on my phone.

I have been having issues with the address on top of my phone (Motorola Edge 50 Neo).

As you can see, as soon as I switch from Private Browsing to Normal Browsing, the address bar on the top shifts and never goes back to its original position.

It only resets back to its position when I close the App and open Firefox again but the issue persists whenever I try to switch from Private browsing to Normal browsing (vice-versa).

Issue: Critical Rendering Failure and Script Latency on Polybuzz.ai I am reporting a consistent issue where modern AI platforms, specifically Polybuzz.ai, fail to function correctly on Firefox (both Android and Linux). Despite being a loyal user since 2004, the current performance gap compared to Chromium browsers is making daily tasks impossible. Core Technical Problems: Layout Corruption: Even in Desktop Mode, the UI breaks, elements overlap, and CSS grids do not render properly. High Input Lag: Massive delays in JavaScript execution, causing the browser to become unresponsive during site interaction. I accidently deleted Firefox. When I reinstalled collections had disappeared. I can add a webpage to collections but no collections on the homepage. I have debug mode and set home screen default to control. Also disabled search bar. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Any ideas?

I am using BIitwarden Passward manager. When i tried to install extension browser I was unsuccessful. Being new user of such apps please guide me to complete installation.
