When v143 was released something happened to the shortcuts row(s). Regardless of refreshing efforts, rolling back versions, and searching the forums, there's no way to consistently get the shortcuts back. Sometimes they appear with a new browser instance, sometimes they don't. They don't appear with new tabs, and they don't stay when they do appear with a new browser. Grrrr. Please restore the shortcuts!

My father used my computer and synced all of his firefox “stuff”, i need to get rid of all of it.

I tried to log in, but came across a message that told me it would just merge with his stuff. I would like his bookmarks and passwords gone so that only mine occupy the browser.

Is there a reset?

Hi, I am having this problem where I am watching a video and there is a very annoying white line at the top of the screen, I have already tried the trick to turn off the titlebar but its still there. My version is updated all the way as well, what do I do now?

Does Firefox support webAuthn passkeys stored by the browser? I have an app that I am working on and I would like to be able to use this feature.

If Firefox cannot store passkeys can you explain why this has not been added?

Hi Folks, Recently I have been having an issue with accessing a particular website which is asus.com and the nature of the issue is as follows. Every time I attempt to login I receive the following error message.

The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.

   "Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your device’s data or Wi-Fi connection."

It should be noted that this is the only website that I am having this issue any and all assistance in resolving this extremely annoying issue will be greatly appreciated

I've noticed that I've got both the 32 bit (../Program Files (86)/..) and 64 bit versions (../Program Files/..) of Firefox installed on my pc. I didn't install both and both appear to be the current version. Is this normal behaviour? Only one instance appears in add/remove programs, but if I go to default apps, Firefox appears twice (presumably the 32 & 64 bit versions). If this is not normal, does anyone have a suggestion as to how to remove the 32 bit version without damaging the 64 bit one?

Firefox used to close completely when I close the last tab. The last update broke that behavior. How can I get it back the way it was? This new behavior is sick!!!

After enabling `privacy.resistFingerprinting = true` in `about:config`, I noticed that Firefox’s built-in PDF viewer (`pdf.js`) is always displayed in **light mode**, even though my system and browser themes are both dark.

I understand that RFP forces `prefers-color-scheme: light` to prevent fingerprinting, but this also affects internal components like the PDF reader. Unfortunately, the PDF viewer doesn’t provide a manual dark mode toggle.

Is there any **official or safe workaround** that allows keeping RFP enabled while still having the PDF viewer use dark colors?

So Im currently trying to watch young sheldon on netflix, and im doing it through firefox, and it wont work, it says error code f7701-1003, thank you for your time.

I used to be able to clear all data with no problem, but now it's holding to Gmail login data (I think that's the problem, anyway). I clear all data after each browsing session and have been doing so for a long time, but it's not working anymore. But it is working on my husband's laptop and we're on the same version of Windows (11) and have the same settings. Can someone please assist in figuring out what's happening behind the scenes? I have 2 machines (Win10 and Win11) with FF 140.3.1esr (32-bit) installed which demonstrates the same failure when I enter one site's url:

PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Chrome at the same machines goes at this url w/o any failures. Any ideas what to change on "about:config" in FF to allow it opening this url w/o such error?

Firefox repeatedly crashes on my, multiple times a day. I'dc really like to NOT have to change my default browser to Chrome.

What happens is that Firefox freezes, and I get a white bar at the top telling me so. I get a popup box asking if I want to close Firefox or wait for it to respond. Waiting doesn't work, so I always have to close Firefox. When I reopen it, fortunately all m,y open tabs are retained, but it crashes again within minutes or seconds as soon as I click on anything.

There only thing that seems to work is a reboot of my PC. But the respite is short before Firefox crashes again.

I've disabled most plugins, but that hasn't helped. Is there a way to create an event log within Firefox that I can share with someone at Mozilla to help e debug the issue? It's got to be something local rather than Firefox itself; I can't imagine this is happening to most users.

When using YouTube system freezes between 5-30 mins, of start of any video. I have troubleshooted, i have checked every extension, i have run every diagnostics on hardware and software , checked and updated every driver but no results i tried checking online but didn't file any solution , the only thing i can do is to reset my system, it does not happen in any other situation. This is happening since the start of Oct'25, if anyone has any idea how to solve this kindly help.
