my new computer likes GOOGLE and I can not see my mozzilla page ./

I purchase a new computer and the browser coming with it was Google Chrome. I like and have used Mozilla for several years; so I used the webpage from Google, news,weather, etc. This page comes up and I can get to my bookmarks, passwords, history, etc. I like the normal webpage of Mozilla and coupled with Windows 7 using a computer is a lot more difficult. I tried to uninstall both Google and Mozilla, but this did not work. Any suggestions.

Are the bookmarks accessible from Firefox.

If they are, you can make Firefox your default browser

Tools > Options > Advanced > "Check Now" and reply to make firefox your default browser.
