Since installing 4.0.1 all 4 of my gmail accounts take between 6-10 seconds to load which is way longer than before - how to fix this?

Before installing Firefox 4.0.1, each of my gmail accounts took about 1-5 seconds to load. However, since installing 4.0.1, each of these accounts take 6-10 seconds to install. Each of the other sites load much faster than previously - really nice. Time of day has no bearing on the response time.

How do I resolve this? I tried to find out my gmail version (the latest non-beta) but couldn't work out how to.

Now it's consistently taking 12 seconds to load. Any idea what's going on here? Other sites are fine.
