Firefox is not letting me open new tabs. It does not work when I press ctrl+t, nor when I press the plus next to my intial tab, nor when I do file-->new tab. What is happening?
I can open new windows but I can't open new tabs no matter what route I take to open new tabs. My 't' key on my keyboard is working. Firefox just updated itself. I tried exiting Firefox, shutting down my computer, and restarting but that didn't work. Firefox is the only program I have open.

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
- Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
- Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons
Thanks, TonyE! Your suggestion did indeed solve the problem!
