automatic creation of new tab on opening
So whenever I close and reopen firefox nightly, it created a new tab even tho i switched the function in settings to open the last tab on re-entering, this happens everytime and it's kinda annoying.

Hi,
Firefox for Android does have an Opening Screen setting that can be set to “Last tab”. You can find it under the three-dot menu > Settings > Homepage > Opening Screen.
Since you are using Firefox Nightly and it is creating a new tab even though “Last tab” is selected, could you let us know which version of Nightly you are using and what Android version your device is running?
Also, does the previous tab still appear in the tab tray after you reopen Firefox, with the new tab simply being selected? If so, that would help distinguish between the previous tab not being restored and Firefox simply opening an additional tab.
