just reinstall from thunderbird.net occasionally update go south and this error appears. Reinstalling replaces the settings that are needed.

If I reinstall thunderbird will I loose all of my emails and addresses. Is there a way to back up my emails when I can't get into Thunderbird because of the xpcom error
