Unable to install Moxilla VPN, getting error "Mozilla VPN has stopped working" when trying to install

Hello,

I just signed up for Mozilla VPN and tried installing it. When I click the MozillaVPN.msi file it opens a page to sign in to mozilla and a window pops up saying "Mozilla VPN has stopped working" and "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." The only option is to click close program button. At the sign in page clicking Sign in and a Mozilla page comes up that says "please return to the mozilla VPN app to complete setup. There's a green checkmark over the VPN icon and says "sign in successful" under it. Only option is to X out the tab. WTF???

Using Windows 8.1 and Mozilla 84.0.1 I have tried restarting mozilla and the computer to no avail.

The VPN does not currently work properly on Windows 7 and 8 devices. Our team is considering developing a Windows 7 and 8 client, but is currently prioritizing improving our current versions at this time (Windows 10, iOS and Android).
