Why do I have to click 3-4 times before I can see "recently closed tabs"?
so very inconvenient, "recent highlight" should be replaced with "recently closed tabs". Even "synced tab" is 1 click away - who needs to see synced tabs more than recently closed tabs, Firefox has started to make no sense!

I agree that the Quantum menus are asinine in certain areas. IMO, that "Recent Highlights" section is worthless. The first thing I do with a new Profile is to get rid of that "Library" button by banishing it to the Customize palette. I don't even allow a "Bookmarks" button to be on the Navigation toolbar; I use {Ctrl + B} to open and close the Bookmarks Sidebar, or use the Bookmarks menu item on the hidden Menu bar.
Try this - hit the Alt key then hit the S key to open the History menu on the Menu bar. There you will see the Recently Closed Tabs menu item.
