FIrefox 57 stinks. It is 3 times as slow a 56. Had to go back even after trying support help suggestions. Please fix so I can upgrade in the future.
Upgraded to Firefox 57. It runs 3 times or more as slow as 56. Tried the supports fixes. Barely helped at all. Had to go back to 56. Luckily that was easy and no problems. When will a new version of Firefox REALLY be faster?

I am sorry to hear that you have problems with Firefox Quantum. Knowing that this might be of very little help let me suggest this: Have you checked out similar questions on this forum? One solution could be to try and start Firefox in Safe Mode to see if any add-ons cause the problems.
Now there has been another release of Firefox by now. Firefox 58 has introduced another performance boost for most people. Maybe you can try to install this version of Firefox? Be aware that you can not downgrade from any versions 58 or higher. You will need to backup of your Firefox profile before you update to Firefox 58 if you want to be able to go back!
By the way, if you want to file a bug report do so at bugzilla.mozilla.org. There any specific bugs and performance issues can be adressed by the right people.
Let us know if anything of this helps or if not you might want to tell a little bit more about your PC, the number of add-ons and so on.
