Thunderbird downloads completely blank messages from the server

My inbox e-mails appear fine when I log in to www.oceanfree.net, but they appear in thunderbird as completely blank, as per attached capture (1). I've used thunderbird for around 10 years and this started about 2 days ago and I can remember no significant change to anything happening around that time. I have been using windows 10 for about 4 months. Attached (2) is a capture of the settings screen. Apologies but I'm not an expert, maybe it's something stupidly simple.

Tried this "repair" thing yesterday. Nothing changed. Tried it just now again and my inbox SEEMS to be receiving e-mails OK again. Hopefully it's fixed now. Thanks very much for your time and help.

1. Your settings show at least three mail accounts, but your screen shot shows only one. Problem somewhere 2. What happens if you start thunderbird in safe mode?

Safe mode made no difference. I checked windows firewall and Mcafee and they don't record blocking anything. It's the oceanfree address that I use. the other 2 (hotmail and gmail) I don't use. Note that I did send an email, using thunderbird. from oceanfree address to the hotmail address and thunderbird inbox did receive it OK when it checked the hotmail address, see attached. If I send an e-mail, using thunderbird, to the oceanfree address (ie from my oceanfree address to my oceanfree address) thunderbird inbox receives it as totally blank.

right+click the folder, pick properties, repair
