settings on home page gone missing
Im very upset with this, not only home page, but when im viewing any other sites on another tab, all my controls that were showing at the top of every page are not there anymore. )files ,viewing, tools etc) I restored my device last night and it never came back. I have accessed all your buttons on top, on right hand side. None of these will help me reset the settings at all. On the top of every page I had a hole line of my favorite websites, because that's not there I have to go and search for them instead of just clicking the buttons. Also my download attachment for you tube on this site has dissaperred also.
I have windows 7 on my i7 laptop. I have been warned that upgrading to win10 means Microsoft have 100% access to everything on our systems. another words no PRIVACY anymore. Microsoft are part of the globalists & Elite who are taking over control and supporting depopulation.

You can tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar.
You can use one of these to set which toolbars to show.
- "3-bar" menu button > Customize > Show/Hide Toolbars
- View > Toolbars
You can tap the Alt key or press F10 to show the Menu Bar - Right-click empty toolbar area
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in Full Screen mode (press F11 or Fn + F11 to toggle; Mac: Command+Shift+F).
When you are in Full Screen mode, hover the mouse to the top of the screen to make the Navigation Toolbar and Tab bar appear. You can use one of these to leave Full Screen mode:
- press the F11 key
- click the Maximize button at the right end of the Tab bar
- click the Full Screen button in the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list
- right-click empty space on a toolbar and click "Exit Full Screen Mode"

Thanks for an instant reply with a solution that has worked well I appreciate that. I just have to find out where my download app has gone for YouTube. when playing YouTube the orange download word is normally here
You're welcome.
Do you remember what extension you used for YouTube?
Did you ever used the Refresh feature and have created a new profile?
When you use the Firefox Refresh feature then a new profile is created and some personal data (bookmarks and history, form data, tabs) is automatically imported. The current profile folder will be moved to an "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop. Installed extensions and other customizations (toolbars, prefs) that you have made are lost and need to be redone.
It is possible to recover data from the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.
There are other things that need attention. I see in the System Details List that you have multiple Flash plugins.
- Shockwave Flash 11.3 r300
- Shockwave Flash 21.0 r0
You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.
You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove older version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re)install the latest Flash player.
- (32 bit Windows) C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\
- (64 bit Windows) C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\
You can find the latest Flash player versions for Firefox on this page:
