Got my verified mail, but cant sign in, but DOES work for Pocket..?

1.) I made a Firefox account. I received a verified email. 2.) Later I could not sign in, and I wanted to add something to the ___ section. 

    (I forgot if this is an ext., add-on or an app); 
    but I did save the URL to it because I'd like to go back and:

[a.] Donate the suggested amount to the developer, and leave a review (with a tip that may 

      help others who are interested in it).

[b.] Leave a note for the other app which said it does the same thing but never worked, and 

      find a way to remove the "bad" app, hopefully.

3.) Since no combo nor request for password reset worked, I made a 2nd FF account. -> 

    (I was under impression I had made (1) FF account, and (1) Mozilla account.)

4.) I did not receive a "verify" email the second time.

5.) Later, when trying to sign in, I noted the FF hint: names, passwords = case-sensitive. Yikes.

6.) Tried every combo I have ever used for the original (1st account) email name. No luck.

7.) At some point I decided to try Pocket. When I signed in, it accepted my 2nd FF account email, 

    no hesitation.

8.) Later, tried to sign in to FF with 2nd acct. It refused to accept.

9.) Checked where login data is saved. Saw both accts, and noted both passwords were right.

10.) Since I had my FF set to clear cache and cookies when closing FF, I feared I'd erased my Pocket links.

11.) I'd accidentally signed into Pocket with *1st* account this time (i accepted this acct. with no problem 

      AGAIN, thus I had *two* Pockets; the latest Pocket only looked bare; the other Pocket still had my links.

12.) By now Pocket admits me with either acct name, but FF *itself* won't admit me with either, nor will 

      it send me a "change password email" to *either* FF account.

13.) So I had to make a 3rd acct with a 3rd email just to sign in here for help. The verification identifies 

       this 3rd acct as a "Mozilla Support" acct. Do I now have *two* FF accts and *one* Mozilla acct?

14.) I just want to be able to sign in to FireFox. I need the community's help on a couple other issues, and 

      so I can donate.

PS-- FF tells me I need to update two things (plug-ins) I tried multiple times but both items *insist* they are up-to-date, and refuse to go further. [I can look this up/ask about this issue later, main concern is general accts for now; (I just added that in case it helps in case you check that area, now you'll know why they aren't marked as updated. They won't let me.
