Firefox crashes
For the last several weeks, Firefox has become unusable. Firefox crashes when clicking on any link that contains video, which is many.
I am running Firefox version 43.0 Canonical for Ubuntu on an Ubuntu 12.04 machine that has successfully run Firefox for over two years.
Following related posts, I have removed and re-installed Flash. removed and re-installed Firefox, renamed my [HOME]/.mozilla directory to mozilla.save in an effort to start clean, all to no avail.
It is my opinion that a recent update to either Firefox or Flash has caused this.
Sadly, as I have run out of things to try, I am forced to change my default browser to Google Chrome until a solution is presented.

This is not a cure, but should let the web page load without crashing.
Flash block {web link} Never be annoyed by a Flash animation again! Blocks Flash so it won't get in your way, but if you want to see it, just click on it
Some of your crash reports weren’t sent to the Mozilla Servers.
In the address bar, type about:crashes<enter>. Note: If any reports do not have BP in front of the numbers/letters, click it to submit them.
The crash report is several pages of data. We need the report numbers to see the whole report.
Using your mouse, mark the most resent 7 - 10 crash reports, and copy them. Now go to the reply box below and paste them in.
