i am working with FF using one remote app on a remote server - when i use an alternate browser such as chrome it will remain within the 90 000 - 150 000 with open app and working on it - which is about normal and doesnt slow down my system. Due to compatibility issues with chrome we must use FF - when i open FF it already pumps 150 000 and it goes up to 500 000 when i use my work app (is just 1 app and i tested on other WB - it doesn't use that much resources but due to the above mentioned issues we must use FF). NO add ons have been added apart from JAVA - i am using the latest version as well (40.0.3) - only writing this message already took me from 150 000 to 246 000... not even an app open... Whats up with you guys? Did you hire fake technicians who buffed up their cv? Are you scattered around the world and are facing some com issues that every time you "upgrade" is a big mess? How much do you pay your coders? I am sure my 6 years old nephew could do a better job but i don't want him to work for free you understand... (sorry for the bitterness but an update/upgrade should enhance your experience and with you is always a disappointment... I support Mozilla for years and use most of your products such as thunderbird and webmaker for example but your WB became just a resource hogging nightmare)

Let me know if you need further info

Also the Telementary data sent on the browsers can help improve the performance. There are also automated tests done to check performance of different platforms.
